Austin and the rest of the HGE team had history with a mature buck named ‘Bad Ass.’ And while the guys love the Kentucky early season and the chance to knock down a buck in velvet, Austin made the call to wait until a little later in the season for an opportunity to cross paths with ‘Bad Ass.’

Sure enough, ‘Bad Ass’ began showing up on the cameras and after patiently waiting for the right wind, Austin and Glenn headed out to one of their favorite areas of the farm.
